Aggregated EScore Data as of March 10, 2008

Home > News > Article
This EScore data download was again remarkable. First and foremost, we crossed the magic threshold of 1,000 cases entered.... 1,113 and counting! Of the 1,113 youth, 38% are female and 62% are male. The sample contains 66% White/Caucasian, 14% African American, 10% Multi-racial, and 10% not identified.

Second, the number of new cases entered since my last report two weeks ago is still double digit... this time over an 11% increase! Way to go counties! Keep up the great work!

Third, the primary referral source data continues to be more and more interesting... while juvenile courts continue to be the number one source of referrals at almost 25% of all cases, mental health providers are catching up at now over 20% of referrals. Interestingly, the child protective service referrals are almost at 10% now.

The counties are also beginning to add more information about the individual youth and families involved in EScore. As this information continues to grow, more descriptive information about the youth and families in EScore can be reported.
